Sure it’s not like, absolutely mega popular, but math channels like 3blue1brown and Numberphile, along with general “sciency” channels like Veritasium and Vsauce Michael Here, have a very wide penetration into the sorta intellectual adjacent audience. Anyone that used to just throw on the Discovery channel 20 years ago is probably aware of those channels if they spend any time on youtube.
