Disappointing to have drawn after dominating pretty much the entire match. But credit to the lads for going until the final minute despite conceeding 2 goals.
Also, I really don’t understand why time was called without checking the penalty? Unless VAR called it straight away. Feels like we were robbed there of potentially winning this leg.
By being so emphatic about the penalty, the ref prevented VAR from intervening - play continued and there was no way they were going to roll it back after that.
I’m glad that both conceded goals were stupid mistakes, but I hope they’re out of our system now.
Isn’t there precedent for VAR to call play back for a pen even after the final whistle. I swear I remember it happening in a man united match
I haven’t heard about that, but the rules do say that VAR will check “at the next stoppage of play”. I guess full time counts as a stoppage… and when the laws were first written, they didn’t anticipate VAR
The more I watch it, the more I think Kane should’ve had a red.
Ratings will be later, I’m busy trying to figure out why lasers aren’t aligning properly for a lab 💀
Building a death ray? 😏
Aim it at Harry’s forehead
Nah, tryna basically do the experiment that proved that the aether didn’t exist, which is usually referred to as the Michelson-Morley experiment cuz they did the thing. Lasers would not cooperate at all, I spent more time fiddling with them than watching the damn match.
Sounds like death ray talk to me 🤔
Well lasers need undivided attention because moving even micrometers results in loss of interference. Should have just watched the match lmao
Ey someone who knows what I’m talking about. We were trying to just fucking get the mirrors to align them in the first place and spent all 3 hours to get it to sort of work and get the interference fringes we needed, can’t collect data til next time cuz of time constraints but we know how to do it now LMFAO
amazing how people did this in the fucking 19th century
Well for them, it was not a simple lab experiment. They spent years coming up with, designing and conducting the experiment. Also Michaelson and Morley were brilliant experimentalists so they managed even with the challenges of their time.
The fact that we are able to do it within one or two lab sessions shows how much both technology and our understanding of physics has progressed since then.
Oh yeah, absolutely. I’m so fucking impressed. But also damn it is such a pain, I so much prefer theory lol
Not gonna lie, I’m fuming!
Ok I just saw the thing Tuchel was complaining about re: Gabriel handball, what the fuck were we doing, ref was way too nice to us for that lol. Spirit of the game I think it’s the right decision but letter of the law I think Bayern can and should be fucking pissed about that.
