Yes, it finally dropped by ~65K. I hope the situation continues to improve. Maybe the incompetent Lemmy.ml tankie admins have finally managed to fix their instance. But they would never admit that it’s an issue with their servers… It’s quite unfortunate that so many niche communities are hosted there. Otherwise we (and probably other big parts of the Fediverse as well) could just defederate and would never have to deal with these incompetent fucks again.
To be fair, they are entitled to moderate their instance however they see fit, as are we. On the whole, it’s good to have a diversity of instances in the Fediverse, because then you get to pick and choose which ones you want in your feed, according to your interests.
