    CGI that’s clearly going for “photoreal” shouldn’t count as animated, it’s not like the live action movies had real robots. It sounds like they just didn’t bother with human actors and saved money on production.

      It was a kids cartoon created to sell toys. The mistake was aging the concept up to appeal to adults in the first place.

      I’m actually really excited to see this as a return to form.
