Former Trump aide and chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security Miles Taylor joins Alex Witt to discuss the dangers of another Trump term, the 14th Amendment clause, and Trump telling conservative media personality Glenn Beck that he would prosecute his political enemies if elected president again. "Donald Trump actually did have a vision while I was in the administration to use the terrorist prison at Guantanamo Bay to house political prisoners,” Taylor says. “The only reason he didn’t start sending people to Guantanamo is that he was convinced it would be too expensive and the facility couldn't house the number of people he wanted to send there. That was the mindset of the man when he was president of the United States.”
People really overuse the term “chilling” in the spooky sense.
I agree. Having a leader with no respect for democracy or the justice system is far worse than chilling. It’s completely terrifying that the US is on the brink of fascism and a third of the country is cheering it on.
also, the people with 2/3 of the money are sponsoring it.
I suspect some part of that 1/3 foolishly imagine they will be put in charge / will be revered under fascism/civil war.
This comment is chilling
This comet is chilling.
The presence of a tail indicates that the comet is evaporating, so it’s being heated, and therefore not chilling.
This comment is pedantic.
That comet is chillin’.
I like it in the sense of cease-and-desist and other forms of censorship.
