One of the best extractions I’ve ever had was a level 9 bug mission where three divers had auto cannons, and two or three had auto cannon sentries, so I grabbed a backpack and acted as the loader for one diver while all five or six cannons blasted away at very close bug breaches, it would have made General Brasch proud

In the rare situations that happens, it’s awesome. Unfortunately, most of the game requires that a Helldiver can be self sufficient and doesn’t have to rely on being tied to the hip of someone else to be effective. Hopefully they can find a way to encourage team work without making it as punishing as relying on someone else to carry a backpack and reload you.

It would help so much if you could team reload someone from the pack they’re wearing, if you don’t have one of your own.

Yeah running up to someone else’s backpack and reloading for them would be nice since it would mean you could keep your own backpack slot, you’d still get the efficiency bonus from team work, and the player with the weapon could still be self-sufficient.

yeah, imagine the incentive for teamwork, badass moments, and FUN of reloading a battle buddy while wearing your shield and getting that double coverage like the hug emote. Just the thought is too cool, nerfs inbound.

This is a good point, especially since it’s too easy to lose your connection or simply not attach at all due to uneven ground. Its not that it’s ineffective it’s just that its too risky on the exact moments you want to use it

I imagine it’ll get addressed one day, but there’s bigger fish to fry and all that tem (fire pun intended)
