You’re not going to achieve that by throwing out the rules, quite the contrary. You’re just giving those people a reason to lobby on harder crackdowns on people, making it even harder to achieve actual change. The problem is that people keep voting against their interests, and not just on a presidential level but even starting on a local level. Hell, if there’s no one worth voting for then you should probably get active in politics yourself before you end up murdering people yourself. Either way, crying about murder and then becoming a murderer yourself is not the solution, but hypocrisy and will invite others doing the same for whoever they think deserve it.

I find the combat & flight model the biggest weak point of it to be honest, and certainly light years away from that of Elite Dangerous.

It looks very Commodore but aside from the odd caps on the corners, which may just be custom placed there, the biggest oddity would be the straightly aligned keys on the edges. On the older Commodore boards that share the general design of this one, the two bottom rows are usually slightly more aligned towards the left, compared to the top rows. Atari had some similar keyboard layouts like this but they generally looked different. Maybe some modern retro inspired replica.

The tech levels within the silos are purposely kept low. They also forbid things like pulley systems and other stuff that could potentially give them an advantage.

If we just run around and murder all he people who rub us the wrong way, then we basically turn into some shithole like we’re seeing in many places in the Middle East or Africa, where warlords rule over everyone else.

I also find this particular topic somewhat stupid when I see alleged Trumpanzees criticizing their far right pundits for calling the Luigi fanboys out. Because it’s typically the glorification of murder, the incitement of murder, or the direct threat of murder, which are all typically illegal in most jurisdictions.

The point of this community is to identify things, not to have a chat. And given that a lot of people can’t even use a regular search engine, I’d say not everyone has access to LLMs now either.

The whole pvp / combat section was utterly confusing too. I don’t think I care about this at all. The beginning sounded great though, like Starfield without a plot and more focus on exploration and base building. Doesn’t sound like they have ship interiors though.

Freelancer is very arcadey and extremely dated.

Starmade had a lot of great ideas and potential, but then just got abandoned in a half assed and buggy state.
