On the plus side: Join the military and you’ll be allowed to do this to poor brown kids, and they’ll call you a hero too!

Harry Potter; you’ll understand every conflict on earth.
And since America hates to break with tradition, we go on to relive the experience in poor countries that can’t fight back, and then we cry about how the troops were the real victims.
Have you tried assaulting your boss and restarting your superhero career?
Let’s be honest here: Going by traditional superhero storytelling, the hero assaults his boss NOT because he’s sick and tired of telling people they’re going to suffer and die (or their loved ones), it’ll be because his boss yells at him or turns him down for a promotion. No traditional hero throws away a vicious career for the sake of others, they do it because they were personally affected.
Not saying there aren’t stories that break this mould (why is this registering as a spelling error?), but traditionally this is how the story goes. Basically it’s the idea of ‘no point helping others until I don’t get what I want’.
I really hate traditional superhero stories.
I love how people who screech about ‘white genocide’ are also the people who see something like this (especially how expensive it is to have a baby) and usually want to keep it this way, never mind that most of them aren’t actually benefiting at all from keeping it like this.
There are several cruciferous vegetables I’d like to have as snacks now that I’m dieting but unfortunately as I read about it, too much cruciferous vegetables can cause health issues (bad enough that too much of unhealthy stuff can cause issues, but it turns out even the healthy stuff can cause issues (specifically thyroid related) if you have too much; you just can’t win!)
Thanks!
I wasn’t sure where to find the answers to some of his questions and I wasn’t going to trust what google offers me, but this has helped massively!
bite America in the ass
It won’t be America it bites in the ass; they’ll be a deadly menace to their neighbors in the West (as I would imagine Russia is going to remain on its toes about armed Ukrainian militias). They’ve been pretty open about their far right views. Frankly this was actually a brilliant strategy for the government; much like how they turned the Middle East into nations yearning for America’s protection, so too will the rest of (Western) Europe now become new clients. As a business strategy it’s brilliant, my only question is why European governments and the idiots who vote for them over there actually going along with this; you’re watching the car careening towards the cliff, why are you cheering the guy pushing it from behind rather than slamming on the brakes.
Even the Taliban didn’t commit 9/11 until the US had already been engaged in military actions in Afghanistan for years by that point. War profiteering is the point.
As someone who only learned a few things about programming, is optimizing code an easy thing? I’ve read about that many times but the only thing I could imagine (and I had to imagine it as I’m not really a programmer) is that perhaps their codes could be more efficient (so rewriting their code so that ten lines do the job of thirty for example) but I feel like if they lack the logic skills or math skills to do it then perhaps that’s why the code contains large functions and such.
But again, I’m not a coder, so I’ve no idea how in practice code can be optimized.
I’m not a programmer (I tried learning programming and unity but got lazy so…) but when I learned about if-then statements, the second one seemed like the way it’s supposed to be; I mean it looks so clean and simple. Do actual programmers prefer the first method?
I mean…if you don’t want to get caught in a bear trap just stop pretending to be a bear, I don’t see what’s so hard about this.
Yeah plus after two hours googling how to make something work, and then another two hours googling why the solution failed they can get used to getting off the PC and internalizing the concept of ‘life’s too short’.
I’m not senile
Never a black screen anymore, malware or anything like that.
He’s using Linux; even the hackers think he’s suffering enough.
My favourite out of those nine was always Jeffrey Combs.
Regarding the comic itself (obviously not the comment next to it), was this originally done seriously? Did the artist actually make that comment unironically (unless the whole pic was done by one person)?
If your views can only be propagated through violence, don’t you think they should be reconsidered?
Please share this pearl of wisdom with the US government, if you’re successful you’ll literally save millions of lives and no one on the planet will ever be more deserving of the Nobel prize. Please also share this sentiment with the soldiers in question, they’re literally involved in killing hundreds of thousands when it’s not millions to supposedly propagate American views on freedom and democracy (but in reality installing puppet governments for geopolitical power or to facilitate the theft of natural resources).
I agree with you but I’d go a step further:
Stop using Linux and just go back to Windows, no need to hurt yourself over a fad
I’m currently working in the middle east and it’s actually the other way around; when there’s a fire we go inside cause it’s colder.
