Ha! I read the following Science new article just today about how Purple Only Exists In Our Brains. It’s written for a younger audience (I think), but it lays out how our sight works, and how our brains trick us into seeing purple (a red-blue colour, as opposed to violet).
Poor shrimpos, no purple for them, I bet.

Plus building aggressively like this is a good stimulus to the economy. Let’s hope it works.

Bonjour, fellow Canadian Lemmies! I’d deleted my Reddit account in November, and was only lurking, so it’s nice to have a voice in the conversation once more.

I was already irked at what they did to their API, and then the Orange Dingbat got elected and I decided it was enough.
Later on, I went back, but only to lurk, but since many of the specialised subs require that you join in able to read posts makes it pretty unusable at this point.
I miss the old Reddit; I was there for over a decade. But here we are, building a new place for ourselves.
