They’ve said they are working on integration with other apps, and have said the ultimate goal is the AI could create its own interface for any app. I dunno if that’s gonna happen but if it did it would be closer to an actual assistant, imagine “rabbit, log onto my work schedule app and check my vacation hours” or “rabbit, compare prices for a SanDisk 256 gig memory card on Amazon, eBay, and Newegg”.

More than likely it’ll just fuck it all up but that’s the dream I think.

I mean yeah, some might use the feature to create an echo chamber for themselves and all the toxicity that can bring is a concern, the alternative is a user experience plagued with content you literally cannot read. I exclusively browse via an app, Google Translate isn’t an option. I have no problem with Germans, if they want to contribute to discussion on English speaking instances- great, I want to see their contributions. I’d just like the ability to cut content that I will never interact with.

The concern that people are going to block instances and complain about the death of Lemmy due to a lack of content feels a bit like a straw man. One could argue that the inability to control content they consume might drive people away and lead to the death of Lemmy. That seems just as plausible but equally unfounded.

I’m sympathetic to your concerns but if someone wants to dodge an instance they don’t want to view for whatever reason they should be able to do that. Blocking posts on an instance from showing up in your ‘all’ feed seems reasonable however, I agree, the members of that instance should be excluded from blanket blocks.

Brella main as well, the kit is incredible, just access to a lethal bomb is a game changer. With the vanilla kit I had to depend almost entirely on my special or teammates to displace long-range anchor type weapons.

I actually feel qualified to answer this one. I main brella, the buff is nice but not the problem with the main weapon. It’s inconsistent. The reason brella players keep advocating for the revert to 90 damage vs the 81 currently is an effort to address the consistency issues the pellet system has.

I would be fine with current brella damage if they, for example, gave us an extra pellet but left damage cap. More consistent but not more maximum damage.

I feel you on LDE, it’s ubiquity is indicitive of a larger problem. I can’t wait for a second Explo kit. Great weapon but don’t burnout if you’re not having fun, branch out.

So 8 entirely new pieces of gear and couple recolored gear pieces, stickers and emotes, and the rest is old stuff.

The community has already beat this into the ground but this is really disappointing.
