The whole subsystem is being removed, so the Android container to run apks is going with it. Sad to see it go, although my usage went down quite a bit after moving away from 3rd party Reddit apps.

I believe you can install it on anything that supports KDE. PostmarketOS has it as an environment option. I’ve not tried it yet either, but I’m interested in a Linux TV Box alternative as well.

It is called nookZax. According to the readme it re-implements the interpreter used on Zax hardware for text games. Honestly I need to look into more of this myself, as I’ve never dealt with software that old directly.

Still using mine as well. I used to browse Reddit and RSS feeds on it, but have gone back to just using it as an e-reader. I am planning to give that text game emulator a spin. I use ReLaunch, but I’m still on the system reader. How is AlReader? Is it worth the switch?

I think you’re on to something. Contemporary society claims to adhere to a higher moral compass, but then trashes it if a profit can be made. The Ferengi Alliance makes no such claim, so everyone is getting stabbed in the front - so to speak.
