Fortunately she just bought more toilet paper.

Fortunately she just bought more toilet paper.

Unfortunately not in one piece.

Late 30s. Looked for Reddit alternatives after they tried to kill 3rd party apps. Landed on Beehaw first, then found Lemmy through Jerboa since you can use both of them through that app.

2016 Camry. Love it, zero complaints. Car I wish I had? Slightly newer model as they look super nice but holding out to see how that generation fares with reliability. Otherwise I’ll drive this one til the wheels fall off.

Tropic Thunder The Nightmare Before Christmas Hocus Pocus Dr. Doolittle Does Titanic count if I watched it for Leonardo DiCaprio reasons? 😂
I watch TNBC every year, usually for Halloween and Christmas. Used to watch Hocus Pocus for the same reason.

😂 Yes, we did (also saw the second one). We both enjoyed it.

Definitely be invisible. I talk all the time about my desire to literally fade into walls and out of rooms because I’m THAT kind of introvert.
The rough thing with me is I’m neither a morning nor a night person so 6am is too early, 10pm is too late 🫠

Steamworld Build. Didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do but I’m on my 4th play through (you unlock a special building each time) and am still enjoying it. Wonderful little gem of a game.
While on a road trip if it’s raining hard or the weather is otherwise bad, I have to turn my music down or off so I can see better.
I cackled the first time I read about something like that but now I’m that person 🫠
Also had an 8:30 bedtime for at least 10 years. I’ll be 40 next year.
Parents had a 1995 Pontiac Transport and a 2001(?) Oldsmobile Silhouette. Hated driving vans.
Learning to drive sounds lovely in your country if you get to pick your car from a selection! (I’m from the US).

Met my husband at a church we used to go to (I’ve since denounced religion). He asked if I wanted to see A Quiet Place. Agreed. Ended up being a double date with another couple who didn’t want to see A Quiet Place so we saw Rampage instead. Absolutely fucking horrible movie. But he and I never stopped texting after that and did a subsequent date a couple weeks later. 5th wedding anniversary is Sunday 🙂
I’m From Honey Mask-good for moisturizing and smells wonderful.
Elizavecca Bubble Clay Mask-fun to use (bubble action puffs up on your face a lot), probably good for controlling oil but I haven’t noticed much in that regard.
Skinfood Black Sugar and Strawberry masks-both good for exfoliation, both smell wonderful, strawberry one is really thick so it stays on well in the shower.

So this is completely different from using shock collars and such. ECT COULD have benefits and from what I understand, people use it as a last resort and some have found relief (severe, persistent depression comes to mind). Is it ethical? I think ECT would be more ethical than a shock collar.
I think a shock collar would result in the person being more compliant without knowing why what they did (or didn’t do) was wrong. This is generally the case with any form of physical punishment. It doesn’t teach emotional/self regulation, it just teaches someone to do what is necessary to avoid being hurt.

On my son’s first day of school last year, I was apparently more overwhelmed than I thought and had a few things to handle after dropping him off. The principal saw me and could probably tell I was fried and she directed me to where I needed to go AND WAITED FOR ME AFTERWARD TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OKAY. Did not expect that at all, I knew she was hella busy but she was super casual about it like I was the only person in the world at that moment. I was on the verge of tears because there was a child having a meltdown in the cafeteria (staff was taking care of him) and that really pulled at my heart strings.
Anywho, I called my husband while crying in my car afterward because I was so overwhelmed. I got to tell the principal last night how much her actions meant to me (she’s retiring this year) and almost cried again. She was really appreciative of the feedback 🙂
Yes, QWERTY. My dad made my brother and I use Mavis Beacon as kids (SHOUT OUT TO MAVIS BEACON!!!) and I had keyboarding class in middle school. WPM is 70 to 80 depending on what I’m typing.

Thank you for responding to these. I realized too late that it wasn’t Friday 😂

Improving my piano skills. Taking more time for myself. Resuming acupuncture. Riding my motorcycle to work on Tuesdays.

Cooking shrimp and grits and seeing Katt Williams with hubby. I
Unfortunately he forgot his pants.
Fortunately he’s good at singing.
