Paid off the last of my tax debt after avoiding it for a month and a half. Told myself I can get the tattoos I’ve been wanting if it did it so now I’m finalizing the details and will hopefully get it dome this month. 🙂

About two or three months ago when I was teaching my son how to blow blubbles 🙂

Raised nondenominational Christian. Started having questions and exploring other belief systems in high school. Parents always made me attend church, initially with them and then said I just had to go “somewhere” once I got my own car.
The pastor at my aunt and uncle’s church discussed some Christian guy who did his Master’s thesis on the deck of cards (face cards) and something something something the queen represents the mother of harlots, don’t yolk yourselves with sinners, etc. Made no sense, never went back. I was in my early 20s. Around this time, I was strongly considering various Eastern religions, specifically Islam and Buddhism, but couldn’t get a foothold in either.
Fast forward to about 5 years ago (mid 30s) and I had a client who was extremely Atheist and made several good points against God that made a lot of sense. Started looking further into Buddhism and found the Secular Buddhism podcast. There’s an episode where he basically says God is real if you believe in him but that doesn’t affect reality. Decided right then that I was done. Been a Buddhist atheist ever since.

Tons. The Wild at Heart, Ballionaire, Hades, Silksong if you’re a glutton for punishment, Neon Abyss, 80 Days, Islanders, most of the Steamworld franchise.
Some of them many not be truly indie but definitely aren’t AAA. These are some of my favorites from the past year.

Yep, exactly. Thus the reason why rates have to be so high if you accept insurance and you want to make a certain amount of money. Like…what part of “This is my hourly rate” do you not understand???

Yaasssss love Storygraph and Kobo!

Licensed professional counselor. LOVE my job. Love my clients. It’s fulfilling. Specific to the place I work, I set my own schedule and they’re extremely supportive. I can also wear basically whatever I want.
I hate working. I’m over it. Wouldn’t matter where I worked, I’m just done HAVING to work. I don’t like the pay but also don’t want to go into private practice. I could go for another practice that gives me a higher percentage of my earnings but that will absolutely come with some caveats. Hate taking insurance but you typically get the most people that way.

My chest pain has gotten better (muscle strain) and I slept better last night after barely doing so for about two weeks. Granted, I used four different things to fall asleep but I’ll take what I can get at this point.

“Personally, I won’t be taking any kind of life advice from someone who dresses as a chess piece.” 🤣
Thank you for putting this channel out there.

Donut

Bacon. (Edited because didn’t understand the rules 🤣)

Cereal

Woohoo! Definitely looking forward to playing this one!

Generally throw away but will keep for more expensive stuff to help with moving.

Video games and talking about music, movies, and TV shows.
You type in an artist and it gives you a visual map of related artists. The artist you searched for is in the middle and the further you go out from that, the less similar the artists are.
NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert is another one. You’re discovering artists at random but I’ve found some bangers that way.
I never even made it to a boss! All I remember was fucking with the chickens 😂 LttP was VERY early in my gaming days.
I 100% thought Link’s name was Zelda and thought I was the only one. I may or may not have learned otherwise until the N64 Super Smash Bros (not sure if that’s the first one or not).
And then I learned about Zelda’s bad ass form called Sheikh (sp?). And then wondered why the hell Link was doing what he was doing in Link to the Past. Never learned about that storyline.

LOVE Steamworld games! I’ve played them all except the first Dig and the card-based one.
I love the poem Invictus so I’m getting the last two lines on it on my forearm. I also want to get the title on my spine between my shoulder blades.
