See, I would classify learning for learning’s sake to be productive.
And, yes, that’s exactly what I was trying to say

As a terrorist they could torture and kill him without covering anything up.
He didn’t leak, he published.
That’s what’s so concerning about the case. The USA tried to persecute an Australian citizen working out of the EU for publishing information.
If precedent was set they could kidnap anyone from sovereign countries based on US law
And even the things you have achieved are meaningless, people probably didn’t like it, and you’re still so bad at the NEW THING, why evén get öut ofbed
You’d get bored and want to be productive.
It’s just hard to be motivated when burnt out by a company that hates it needs you and forces people to do work in a stupid way without autonomy and the goal of fucking their customers
Edit: I’m referring to post-capitalism, not justifying corporate bullshit
Edit: I have no idea what’s going on. Clearly someone doing nothing would do things not to be bored.
No, he is critical of labor with the caviet we can’t piss off daddy don USA and so labors position is reasonable.
He has a point, is what it is, the nail that sticks out gets hammered down. And I’d prefer a competent government over a coalition of corrupt, idiotic scammers
Haha, I agree, he’s a mixed bag.
It’s nothing you wouldn’t be aware of, but it’s good to see some awareness raising.
Ah, so that’s what triggered friendlyjordies video yesterday.
This comment seems contentious. Are the differences in opinion political? An ideological opposition?
.
Thank you for your comment, it provided more context than the article
It does make me think about a US China war.
It’s reasonable to assume the US would be the aggressor (the ratio of countries invaded since WW2) and all their weapon components are refined and manufactured in or around China; rare earths, chips, etc.)
They would have to win quickly and dominate completely: read brutally.
So I’m ever optimistic there won’t be a war.
I don’t care that someone lied on the internet, that made me laugh loudly in public
Writing down a crypto wallet key in a self hosted password manager on a highly encrypted self hosted drive which degraded. Pretty much the same with the photos, if I didn’t encrypt my backups I would have been able to recover more files.
You would not believe how much I have lost from being obsessed with high-threat modeling for my low-threat life. $10k and family videos for a start.
Sometimes it’s a good idea to protect the community from itself lol.
Tasmania is cheaper and just as disease free!
But the logging of some of the oldest trees in the world is really sad, so it’s a bit of a trade off.
I thought that was odd as well. Especially because it states it was adapted from the WHO.
I agree, the overlap is very cool!
I came here looking for a discussion about a link between Autism and animism (as being the oldest known spiritual practice).
I think your just talking about animism and confusing the relation

@Ada, may I have a registration token?
I separate work under capitalism from community directed, individually motivated, anarchially organised work. Hence the first edit.
Learning is a requirement of productivity, productivity cannot exist without learning, therefore learning is productive.
I don’t think people have an issue with work, they have an issue with the current state.
