Is the dilemma that I can’t take the tram to my foraging grounds? If so I agree that is a problem.

The crackdown against activists in the UK is getting very serious. If people don’t wake up and push back it may be the beginning of a very dark time.

The conflation of property destruction (especially of extremely wealthy businesses) and violence against people is extremely silly.

Biden has backed Israel since Hamas-led gunmen attacked the country in October 2023, killing 1,200 people and taking 250 hostages. Since then, more than 43,500 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have been killed in Gaza, with 2 million displaced people and much of the strip reduced to rubble.

How mysterious. I wonder who killed them?

Although it’s also worth noting that not everyone who voted for Trump supports everything he does. In fact I suspect most don’t, but they’ve been fooled into thinking his “business acumen” will make their lives materially better.

As I said, you may want to read the way moderation works on this community to make sense of this. I can see how it would appear strange to you that you were banned in a community you never posted in it—but it’s just the way the automated ban bot functions. It bans people who get a lot of downvotes.

Unfortunately, Lemmy doesn’t notify users of bans which I think is stupid. But on the other hand, since the bot is banning people all the time who don’t care about or participate here, it could be a little annoying to send them notifications all the time.

The main issue is that your past account was banned in this community, but you’re now using a new account to post here. This would usually be considered ban evasion in other circumstances but we all know you’re using this account because LW fully banned your other account.

If you didn’t try to post here previously, you may have been unaware you were banned. This is a gray area that would require us to know you were intentionally evading the ban.

Normally I’d say just don’t post here anymore but it’s a bit complicated because normally you could get unbanned if you post more positive things elsewhere. The way the automatic bans work here is quite different, I would recommend reading about it to understand the context.

This might require the main mod of this community to adjudicate.

A friend is getting married there next year. I’ll have to keep an eye out so I can try them.

This has already been debunked elsewhere. Swing state vote tallies are higher than 2020 and the numbers you’ve posted are likely due to slow counting in California and elsewhere but Trump didn’t win due to millions of Biden voters staying home (at least not more than in a normal election).
