  • A few pieces of advice have stuck with me over the years. Like, drinking a beer in the shower—sounds ridiculous, but it’s criminally underrated. When I was five, my Nana hit me with: ‘Never sleep with a girl when she’s fertile.’ Didn’t fully get it back then, but it stuck. Somewhere along the way I picked up ‘Use the Force, Luke,’ which still makes me laugh. Then there was the game-changer: always poke holes in Chinese pork dumplings before dipping them in the juice. Honestly, that one changed my life. And for pure chaos? Take a sip every time you see blood in Saving Private Ryan. Not sure if it’s advice or a survival test, but it definitely makes the movie unforgettable

  • I’m not associated with Turning Point in any way—I just think having a debate space focused on political and social issues would be valuable. You asked what would make it different? For one, there’s no live crowd of students here, just you, me, and the comments. That’s a plus—there’s no risk of physical harm for speaking openly.

For context, I’m an American. I was a top history student in grade school, consistently earning the highest marks in the toughest classes, and now I work as a truck driver—so my phrasing might come across a little rough at times. Still, I’ll keep things respectful.

One more thing: as an American, I have the freedom to criticize my government—sometimes with hyperbole or even insults—in ways that aren’t tolerated everywhere. If there are certain topics you can’t address, I understand, but that’s where I’m coming from.

  • They don’t realize that they not only emboldened a wave of conservative people during midterm season to vote gop but also for conservatives this was their mlk moment, someone they loved gunned down while giving speeches and debating. The left has lost all credibility at this point. People are leaving the Democratic Party because of this and I’ve seen some people who weren’t ever politically motivated get motivated to vote gop and also it has sparked a religious revival. Churches across the country are jam packed. He is a modern day martyr and honestly coming from gab as i has one the most active accounts on gab until torba nuked his own platform essentially the left doesn’t realize that the people that supported kirk were moderates b but now they are radicalized and motivated and ready to take his message further than ever before. The left messed up and i wouldn’t be surprised if the gop takes power for the next 20 years

  • It really is…… if i had a choice i would live in upper new hampshire, great state for no income tax and friendly on gun rights, also it centered between maine and vermont, like Vermont is beautiful but living there costs alot vs nh where cost of living is lower, as long as you are prepared to spend on energy during the winter and bundle up you’ll be ok,

  • Honestly If nature is your thing Vermont, the adirondack mountains of upstate ny, maine are gorgeous. Nh is cool but Massachusetts, ri, Connecticut are hot garbage except for some beaches. If your ever in the area for some reason I’ll take you to the Ben and Jerries factory or to my dads house in rural maine where the amish live or to the adorondacks around the town of speculator or lake George. Nh got a lot of spots too. Nothing better tbh than vermont in late summer early fall, warm during day, fire place weather by night
