I mean, would they even notice if I sent an email? Seem like it’s either a very rare artifact they wouldn’t bother fixing, or they did it on purpose (and wouldn’t bother fixing).
That’s exactly what I was thinking. I did find a link to an existing star system online: “Israel Hands”. Someone “discovered” it in 2018. https://nomanssky.fandom.com/wiki/Israel_Hands I’m still figuring out their RNG, so I don’t know if this is part of their vocab or part of the curated content.
Doesn’t it suck that we can’t tell what is real? I mean the internet has always been full of BS… but still… I guess since I don’t post often, I’m just not used to people (prudently) being skeptical of my reality.
Love the blast effects. One critique is that it is really hard to see the main character with so many brighter splashes going on. Perhaps use a higher contrast pallet, or use a glowing outline? Would it be feasible to add a simple lighting to the player, so it lit up one one side with each flash of light?
Ok - that just looks weird. And I’m into that. But I would need to try it out first. Do you know anywhere I can do that?
Thanks - do you know if there is somewhere I could try it out?

Thanks! That looks like a great keyboard. How would you compare it to the Logitech K860?
Wow, that’s a great help! I love the look of the K860 - it’s like a sculpt clone. I would buy one right away, but now you’ve gotten me interested in checking out all these others… Is there somewhere I can try this stuff out?
You could use a few different null hypotheses here. One with minimal assumptions would be that the medians are equal. This can be tested using the Mann-Whitney U test. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mann–Whitney_U_test
Thank you for this recipe! Just tried it out with one substitution - white whole-wheat instead of AP four. Not a great idea… I will have to try again sometime.
I don’t think that’s true. I got pretty good at this as a kid and was able to hit the mark much more often than random. The trick was pressing the button a bit earlier than center.
Oh, that’s interesting. So perhaps this is pulling text from human-named systems? I guess that’s more understandable. Still something they could moderate better.
