This was my first thought, but apparently it’s another right winger ::gasp::
I have Nothing Ear (2), the mic is good, but does a terrible job filtering out background noise. I don’t recommend them if you want to talk in noisy environments.
Might try cinnamon and solid back sweeten for a fall cider.
Have you experimented with different yeast? I really like using wilder (more lacto) yeast strains made for belgians and saisons.
Doesn’t he have some slave labor he should be doing instead?
Can get pregnant at 16, math checks out.
I really have to wonder who is down voting this comment.
Terry Crews for president!
Iceberg dead ahead!
From the man who ran the “Never Back Down” campaign and was nearly the first to do so…
Wait for the rebrand to xXx
Just wait, this hurricane season is going to be a wild one. If NC gets flooding like it did in Florence, we’ll be contaminating all those flood waters again.
I also have concerns about nutrient cycling, every rain and over watering is going to wash nutrients into the street below. This is an interesting idea, but could use more refinement.
Doesn’t seem like Columbia is following eviction law here.
Seems like a great space to rewild to allow pollinators to repopulate.
I can tell you that even tesla’s direct ev station installs can sit on hold for over a year after the final construction drawings are done and permitting has been approved. So, this isn’t a huge surprise to me, and should get better with time.
The Drilled Podcast recently did a great deep dive on this. https://drilled.media/podcasts/drilled/8/drilleds08-ep01
Why ban, why not just have an accountability partner?
90+% of this article is good, valuable, and interesting. I too ride on 3-4 lane roads and have dealt with aggressive drivers, it’s nice to be seen.
However this bit chafes:
The dismissive ‘male glance’ is real, on the bike as in all of life. I can distinctly recall men realizing another cyclist (me, almost 50) is behind them, at a red light or whatever, and looking back, only to discover a woman who is older than he is, on a not-interesting-to-him bike, with no interesting blingy gear on it, and have him turn away, barely able to acknowledge I was there at all. What was he expecting to see? A sexualizable object young enough to be worthy of his attention?
There is no winning, being catcalled or ignored is equally appalling to you, how is anyone supposed to go about their life in proximity to you? He could certainly say hi, but is not obligated or even expected to. His response likely has less to do with the fact that you’re a woman than it does with they fact they probably have something else on their mind.
It was kind of an epiphany in my understanding when I realized that “the market” is not exclusive to capitalism and has existed as long as goods exchange and that socialism, doesn’t mean ignoring market forces or value.
