  • Shooting drills aren’t even normal for amerikkka. I’m in my mid-thirties and didn’t know they were a thing until I went to work as a substitute teacher. They were a horrifying bizarre experience, made even more so by the fact that the liberals surrounding me think that they’re normal and that there’s nothing we can do about them.

  • I want a world where Biden represents the Right party I hate.

The Democrats are a far-right party by international standards.

But right now, he’s representing the only party that isn’t making a goal hurting people I love.

I guess we’ll downgrade the mass murder charges to mass manslaughter since the Democrats don’t explicitly state that they want to commit genocide, even if their policies always result in genocide.

There are dead people I care about that would be alive if Trump had lost to Hillary in 2016.

100% probability Hilldawg would have killed as many or more people than Trump did. They just would have been overseas or in amerikkka’s internal colonies—out of sight, in other words, so liberals like yourself wouldn’t have to worry about them. “Fascism is okay as long as it doesn’t negatively impact me.” More people have also died of covid under Biden compared to Trump (specifically because of Biden’s anti-vaxx, anti-mask policies), while the proxy war Biden started in Ukraine has resulted in hundreds of thousands of needless deaths.

My problem isn’t people saying Biden is bad. My problem is people saying he’s as bad as Trump. As a president, he is absolutely fucking not.

Without doing research, name a specific policy passed by Biden or the Democrats since January 2021 which has improved your material life.

  • Capitalism was built with the ashes of feudalism, socialism is being built with the ashes of capitalism. All of us in the imperial core live in a capitalist society; everyone is tainted with it in some way. It’s not as though the first capitalist, when he was doing the first enclosure, looked at the land and was like “wait a minute, I’m a hypocrite since I’m using feudalism to destroy feudalism.” He didn’t care. “We will hang the capitalists with the rope that they sell us” has proven to be a pretty effective strategy.

Christopher Caudwell has some pretty excellent critiques of bourgeois science. Scientific progress has stalled because it is no longer profitable for the bourgeoisie, and the world’s best scientists are all bootlickers, at least inside the imperial core. There’s a reason the best physicists in the 20th century were all communists. But China thankfully is turning this situation around.

  • “It’s Florida and Texas and red states that are the problem,” I tell myself as my entire country continues to collapse in a thousand different ways. “It’s Florida and Texas and red states. If we just had 60 Democrats in the senate and a more moderate SCOTUS (like in 2008), everything everywhere would be perfect! I mean, just look at all Obama managed to accomplish during that time! Endless drone strikes, corporate welfare, and a health care “plan” endorsed by the Heritage Foundation that made no difference to health insurance prices (which continued to rise as though nothing had happened) and left tens of millions of people uninsured or underinsured and which led to tens of thousands of deaths over the years due to lack of coverage—and that was before the pandemic even started! It’s not the system designed by genocidal slave owners that’s the problem, we just need to get rid of the corrupt elites and replace them with GOOD elites and everything will work itself out!”

Also really? I despise the US too, and it’s leadership has been a force of immense evil, but you can’t think of a single positive thing someone in the US has done, or a single positive thing that has happened in the US in the past 50 years? Not a single thing?

It’s like trying to find the good in apartheid South Africa. Something positive must be there (the music), but overall, it’s not good.

    Their systems of organization.

We should adopt this here. Other countries with relatively old metro lines (South Korea’s oldest was built in 1974, China’s oldest is three years older) have a shitload of people using them but also ways to repair and upgrade things (already discussed by others in this thread) without too much inconvenience. NYC doesn’t upgrade its subway because it’s run by shitlibs who are owned by the bourgeoisie, who lose money when society is even remotely functional.
