Its tragic… So many people believe they’re powerless in so many ways… It’s like they never watched “A Bugs Life”

I ate a chocolate reindeer this week.
Just try and stop me.
The therapy world is a small subculture, 80% of my friends are therapists at this point.
We met when working together, delivering a training course.
😁
You could write a comedy script about therapists with caricatures like that.
I’d watch it
Therapist magic is divination based, let’s you see more.
Its not enhancement based so doesn’t work to control each other.
Does lead to some interesting, deep and honest conversations!
That’s pretty much why we get into this in the first place, yeah.
We learn to stop doing that during the training thankfully!
This is literally the problem I’m having with a girl right now.
She’s a therapist.
So am I.
Don’t trust therapists to have all their stuff together 😏

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.ca•Wat is your working theory on something thats not yet solidified but is building?
2·8 天前I agree there won’t be a big “poof!” Crash where they disappear and it’s like it didn’t happen.
There will be a consolidation though, at least that’s the plan. They know there’s no need for four or more versions of this technology so the scheme is to be the last one standing.
That transition will look a bit like a crash. Maybe more of a flop.
There’s also not a lot of broader exposure to the risk yet as ownership is very limited. The initial public offerings that are coming will both generate investment as well as spread the risk to the public via banks, pension funds and the like.
That’ll change the dynamics of who is willing to spend resources and take risks softening the flop.
Fair.
Fortunately very low impact on me personally as I’m a jellyfin user.
What could Netflix have to gain from this?
They thinking people will make the effort to watch out of fear of a frozen account?
That people will need to watch regularly to ensure it’s there when they want it?
Are Netflix or people dumb? I don’t know anymore
