Chris@feddit.ukto Europe@feddit.org•Submit complains about Ryanair to European AuthorityEnglish9·3 days agoRyanair are awful. I’d rather pay a bit more and not have to put up with their nonsense. They are the lowest of the low.
For reference, this is how it shows up in Connect:
It’s an embedded video. Probably Thunder only supports embedded images. I suggest you take it up with the dev, as it should work (and does on the default Lemmy UI).
Looks OK here on both Mastodon and Lemmy.
Are we sharing pylons?
Muon.
Does SSH, SFTP and other stuff.
Chris@feddit.ukMto UK DAB Radio@feddit.uk•FM radio has track/album art, as does DAB+, but not DAB?English3·7 days agoPlain DAB and DAB+ are identical - DAB+ just uses AAC instead of MP2. So whatever works on DAB+ will on DAB too.
I’ve never seen album art on any station, although I’m aware there is a slideshow (I’m not sure if that’s the correct name) feature for images. I’ve not seen it used.

Chris@feddit.ukto Linux@lemmy.ml•I swapped the entire school computers to linux mintEnglish11·13 days agoThis is great! The science teacher who used to also look after all the computers at my school was a big fan of the Acorn Archimedes/RISC PC (quite standard school computers in my day due to the BBC computer literacy stuff, where Acorn won the contract for the BBC Micro). We had a couple of PCs (RM Nimbus) which didn’t get as much use. I believe the plan was to switch over to PCs running Windows (95 had been out a couple of years) and because of that he left. I wonder if there was a viable alternative at that point, such as Linux, that he would have stayed.
If you don’t believe, you don’t get the money.
The tooth fairy isn’t going to bother if you can’t be bothered to believe in her.
