My husband went to a conference 2 weeks ago in Florida. Blue collar industry, no one is vaccinated, no one wearing a mask. He came home and immediately had Covid (we are both vaccinated). I got it too. Motherfuckers. Oh, and if he wore a mask there is a very serious chance he’d be shunned at work, which we can’t afford.

I’m really glad they have this new drug, but what we also need is proper screening for postpartum depression and bipolar. I was never screened for it, and I had it hardcore. Wish I got the help I needed back then.

If you read the comments, it seems to be precisely the people in countries with universal healthcare who are having trouble. Getting diagnosed in the US is relatively easy. For me it was a single visit to a psychiatrist, $300 out of pocket because I have not hit my deductible yet. Have been on stimulants and doing well ever since.
