Could I get the name of the song, if that’s ok?
ink1ing@lemmy.worldto 196@lemmy.blahaj.zone•POV: you decided to look into your spouse's retirement accountsEnglish12·3 months agoIt’s honestly impossible to fully disconnect from the clusterfuck that’s happening with the US markets due to the absurd tariffs. Like the person above says, you can mitigate it by going to more international funds and bonds, of which I definitely agree. However the US controls the global currency, and is the worlds importer, so every countries debt/exports is wrapped/linked to them, either direct or indirectly. That’s why every nation is so nervous, and trying to find alternative trades like Macron is doing to compete with the F-35s sales in Europe, the orange twat has screwed the whole global in one fell swoop.

Ok so I know I’m replying to my own comment but fuck it, since I haven’t seen it mentioned and it absolutely destroyed the brit comedy scene at its time, Only fools and horses. Really speaks to the working class struggle at the time (1980+) and even now.
League of Gentlemen is quite a fun dark comedy. Not everyone’s cup of tea though, which is fair. Same with inside no. 9, made by the same cast, but is a bit more modern and drama-like.
My ex really liked that show, mostly the main guy. Could you elaborate a bit, e.g. plot, characters etc, if it’s no trouble?
Just started a new job two weeks ago, all they use is Excel and Access. Now you’ve got me scared, first job out of uni and feels like a lot of pressure.
