When I want that kind of sound I normally break out the mandolin, so I have no real experience with high strung tunings, but I bet it sounds great in open D.
I was going to comment on the lack of a hyphen, but you did it better than I possibly could.

A friend of mine’s dad was dreadfully afraid of all things plumbing, but somehow managed to break the spigot for his bath tub. He managed to get the broken one off and then proceeded to crossthread the new one all the way on with a large adjustable wrench. When he was done, the spigot was facing upwards and it stayed that way for decades until the house got torn down.
I am not autistic at all, but I’d like to point out that I haven’t seen a tag on clothing in over a decade and wouldn’t buy it if it had one.
