Hahaha Thank you I think? I’m finding varying reports, but tbh I’m not expecting too much! (Something about not being disappointed!) And after leaving went on to form Soulfly who have a heap of awesome albums, as well as forming Cavelera Conspiracy with Igor. Max also toured and performed the roots album and another tour doing beneath the remains / arise also with Igor (which I saw when they toured Australia - just awesome!)

I just finished ‘The last devil to die’ also… It was sad / poignant, but omg also so funny and clever!!! I love the Thursday murder club! I’m also a big fan of murder mysteries, especially ‘cosy’ murder mysteries… Good to have things work out in books when the real world is going to shit.

Try the ABC and SBS for more balanced coverage of issues. Whilst The Guardian skews left / progressive, it has excellent journalism and they also have a daily podcast (mon-fri) that looks into a particular story each episode, as well as a weekly(?) Podcast about politics where they discuss current issues.

I agree… definitely needs more funding… and the thing is, there are actually treatments for heroin (unlike meth) so it seems crazy to not invest more into the system so it works better and more people can get treatment if they want it.

Methadone / pharmacotherapy is something that needs to be individualised, so there is a need for more doctors (and perhaps nurse practitioners) to be able to engage with patients to find what will suit them . The article makes mention of this… unfortunately there is so much stigma associated with heroin use that few medical practitioners want to take it on, and also many pharmacists don’t necessarily want to be part of dispensing methadone.
