They had a blinding stew. A 1 day blinding stew. A stew that blinds for 1 day. They were fed a 1 day blinding stew.
Shitposter while I tend to two babies. Maybe when I have my life back, I’ll help us get a few more niche communities back?

Interesting. I obviously knew most weren’t his but a few surprised me, like Apples and Bananas. Not about to rabbit hole down trying to find the history behind them, though!
As others say, premades are generally less healthy and carry more preservatives like sodium. I personally keep them on hand anyway in case I need something in a pinch, but even then I have a few easy meals if foods are stocked (like carbonara, which i make tonight!)
If you do go frozen for the wife, be sure to check what you’re getting. My step father has been having heart issues lately and I don’t think he realized his diet of mostly frozen dishes were putting him at like 300%+ daily intake of salt.
That was the suggestion I was going to make! They have always been burpy and silly and “Job’s Done!” and all that. Even the sheep will bleat out a Babe reference with enough clicks!
What perplexes me is, this guy came up with a ton of songs that are regularly on my kids rotation, but I’ve never, ever seen him credited.
I just can’t sacrifice entire weekends to reading webcomics like I used to…
No Superman, that’ll ruin the finish!
I’m glad you’re at least willing to see what’s worse. Maybe we’ll be pleasantly surprised by her policies regarding Isreal-- I did hear recently that only 17% of Israelis want Harris, vs (I think it was) 63% for Trump and his “finish the job” rhetoric. So if Israel hates her, that’s probably a good sign.
Thanks for your thread, I also have to upgrade my Blade 15. It automatically installed Windows 11 which broke the built in monitor (lol). Let me know if you have any success with these comments’ suggestions!
Same. It’s almost okay, except it makes me angry. Lol
As a professional in education policy, I’ll let you know that K-12 is pretty terrible. It didn’t work for me especially for exactly these reasons and by 9th grade I was burnt out and stopped doing all homework. Thanks to grade inflation, I still got Cs (they have me a C on a quiz I drew a doodle on instead of answering questions on a book I didn’t read).
I still got a PhD, but it took community college (and transferred) and the slightly higher respect for me as a person helped tons. There are still shitty instructors at that level, but you have a better chance to avoid them if you navigate the system carefully.
In other words, you’ll run into crap like this plenty but even in a worst case scenario, as long as your kid is still smart they’ll ultimate have more chances. (Also don’t forget internal motivation, validation from teachers is hit or miss but if they do something they like themselves that should also not be diminished).
I generally don’t trust .io for that particular reason. It’s the Steve Jobs of the world picking that for buzz; the Steve Wozniaks of the world would simply choose .org.
And…, to make sure my joke didn’t lead me to find it Woz had a fucking io website, I looked it up and his personal cite is fucking org. Lol
I’ve seen it once, although more recently met a Genevieve which feels even rarer and just as pretty.
Sleep got a lot better for me when I followed medical advice and avoided my bed for anything but sleep (and the other thing, lol). Your brain needs to not associate your bed with work, school, video games, etc., so it can work as a trigger. Ever since I did that, I sleep within minutes of laying down.
Not any worse that my first time voting, Starbucks gave us a free small black coffee. They didn’t do it to bribe back then, too.
Was hoping to stop being so sick before voting, but I filled out my mail in. In CA, drop boxes are everywhere but I’m just out of convenient range of all mine almost perfectly in all directions. Also early voting centers are a little far, but all the regular ones are open tomorrow and they accept mail ins with the worry of it getting lost in the mail. It’s a block away.
Of course, it’s all propositions for us but a few interesting ones that landlords hate. Good luck to all those in purple and soon to be purple states!
Starting it strong, I see. Nice job Squids!
I think it’s became a bipartisan thing (albeit more hush hush for GOP) after the last few elections suggested that older people (who are likely Republicans) prefer it and preventing them causes problems for both party turn out (but again, Republicans).
The only reason GOP publicly hate on it is because that helps the “stop the steal” lies. And they flip flop on that message constantly.
Need to zoom out to reveal they’re going a finonacci sequence. 1, 1, 2…
