grow a plant, hug your dog, lift heavy, eat healthy, be a nerd, play a game and help each other out

give em the touch of death!

agreed, though it’s still good to get your beans and lentils in from time to time.

I’m not sure what you’re getting at with that. I’m an ally, don’t presently own a car, and rely on whey isolate to supplement my diet and training.
I’d be willing to wager that people who are serious about weight training and fitness have more empathy than your standard “fuck your feelings” type of person.

yeah that’s just a Tuesday, no?
I’ve caught my mum sharing videos like that from facebook of all places. have all the time in the world for her, and have been trying to patiently explain why videos like that are detrimental, misleading, and just kinda lame all around.
really worry about shit like this. like some prick with whatever kind of agenda could be churning out these brainrot videos to needlessly stir unrest or what have you.

please tell me this is yours

Unfortunately, no it doesn’t store the metronome setting, and always reverts when you go out of the function. I would love for it to persist but I suppose that would have some memory implication on an already extremely modestly provisioned device (it’s kind of amazing what little resource Infinitime uses as an RTOS).
the long press on watch face will only work on specific designs; I use the Casio style one, which doesn’t offer any customisation options, but others like Infinibeat and Pride Flag do 😊
and absolutely! I always keep an eye out for new versions, if only to read about the trials and tribulations when developing for iot devices.

the metronome is for sure my most used feature 😅
somewhat frustratingly, it defaults to 120 BPM and 4bpb, rather than 60-1. the slider interface for the BPM can be really finnicky to interact with as well, but I’ve recently learned that you can double tap the centre of the UI and have it set to the rhythm of your taps!
I had also only recently learned that you can long press on some of the watch screen designs to customise the look of them.
lots cute stuff hidden hidden inside 😊

sorry, I was just bringing it up as a feature since you just bought a pinetime. it’s a pretty neat little device and can do lots of handy little things 😊
I use it to control my music, and I even use the metronome feature to help me time static stretches and yoga and such.

ahhh okay I see. So on the watch you can have it show turn by turn directions! It’s pretty neat if you’re wandering about in a new city and don’t wanna keep your phone in your hands, but it’s definitely not necessary.
love osmand though, been using it for years, and it’s neat having offline maps of entire countries.

oh no way, I didn’t have turn by turn working unless I used organic maps (now comaps). I’ll try osmand with it again some time.

absolute lad

wirths law (I think?) in effect

even then, I never thought they were super present in that space. Kinda interesting
good stuff!
also, that looks like a solid rack and bench. can you let us know the makes / models?

This is deliberate. They editorialise in this way as a parody of outlets like the daily mail.
that’s fine. appreciate the news nonetheless

Appreciate the context

😓
congrats on the move 🥰
