No one this year but 2 years ago my sister was in a manic phase and cornered my mother in law for 45 minutes just…talking about STUFF. Eventually all other conversation stopped to hear about water and crystals and ‘energy’. When I broke in and asked her to give it a break she stormed out of the house and drove off leaving her husband and kids there. She came back an hour later with an ice cream cone because she knew we would eat dessert without her. We hadn’t but there was lots of forced laughter all around.
Yeah, they stayed home last year but this year she came and was within the realm of normal or at least no stranger than anyone else. I believe that she is in therapy and/or medicated. This year was awkward not because anything happened but because everyone was aware something COULD happen.
