Batteries degrade over time and fast charging accelerates that degradation. After a decade of charging and fast charging the battery’s capacity will be a fraction of what it was when new.

These are facts, indisputable and verifiable facts.

If you think I’m trolling then I am dead right about the intelligence of the average EV driver. They’re morons in denial about their poor purchase decisions.

No one is disputing that, Strawman. We’re disputing the notion that a battery will be “royally fucked” after 10 years and that anyone “fast charges their vehicle for 10 years”, as you put it.

What the hell are you talking about? 10 years of regular fast charging will fuck the battery.

Now clearly you have zero understanding about how and why battery degradation occurs yet you have planted your flag and are prepared to die on this hill.

As you seem rather unintelligent and/or a troll there doesn’t appear to much point in continuing this conversation.

          Good bye.

10 years of regular fast charging will fuck the battery.

What is “regular” fast charging? This is a point that you refuse to expound on because you know it will destroy your own argument. Most people will not fast charge more than a dozen times a year or so. 99% of charging will be done at home.

I see now you’ve moved on from strawmanning to personal attacks. You’re really putting together some super compelling arguments here.

Feel free to provide sources for any of this nonsense.
