Of course, owning a dog like that is a choice. One could just as well own a small dog that doesn’t wreck everything. If you can’t handle a big, high energy dog, then you probably shouldn’t have one. Chopping its tail off is cruel and unnecessary.
Also their tail, typically. It’s pretty barbaric.
I’m not saying whether I approve of cropping the tail or not, as I have mixed opinions on that.
