In the latest entry to our Confessions series, a transgender employee tells Modern Retail he sent an email to Target CEO Brian Cornell saying the retailer had been a "safe haven" for him — there aren't many employers he felt safe working at in his area as a transgender person — but that Target's recent decisions related to diversity, equity and inclusion have made him feel "dehumanized, undervalued and disposable."
True, but companies don’t have to dehumanize in the process, which is what Target is doing.
What part of “disposable” isn’t dehumanizing to begin with?
