for me it’s White Chicks, lost the number of times i watched it, also recommend Tucker and Dale vs Evil.
Monty Python Search for the Holy Grail.
“One day all of this will be yours!”
“The curtains???”
I just want…to siiing
The Gods Must Be Crazy. There are legitimate critiques of its treatment of race since it takes place in apartheid Namibia and South Africa, but everyone in the movie seems to be having a great time and the physical comedy is top notch
It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World leaves me in stitches every time.
Most of my favorites have been mentioned, but I haven’t seen The Party (1968) or Clue (1985) mentioned yet.
Naked Gun 1-3
Airplane 1 and 2
Fatal Instinct
Hot Fuzz
The Other Guys
Anything by Mel Brooks
Not a movie but every few years I do a rerun of Scrubs (but not the last season).
The UK version that predates it by about 6 years is called Green Wing btw
The life of brian
Naked gun. All of ‘em.
- The Producers (1967 Version.). Every scene with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder is unhinged brilliance, and the supportig cast is equally good.
- Arsenic and Old Lace: I know it’s a high school drama club staple, but the original film starring Cary Grant is still hilariou. And the plot was way ahead of its time.
- Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
This is the End
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
I love you man
Knocked Up
Rush hour 1/2
Dumb and Dumber
Liar liar
Hangover
I missed Rush Hour 1/2, is it a prequel to the first Rush Hour? 😉
It’s just the first VCD of Rush Hour 1
Hmm, on top of my head I find these very very re-watchable, but there are so many more.
- Some Like it Hot
- Airplane!
- The Naked Gun movies.
- Blazing Saddles
- The Blues Brothers
- National Lampoon’s Vacation
- Young Frankenstein
- Robin Hood: Men in Tights
- Planes, Trains and Automobiles
- Happy Gilmore
- The Big Lebowski
- Liar Liar
Airplane! is definitely top of my list. Such a perfect cast. We watched it again earlier this year; I think it’d be a hard movie to make today.
You’ll probably enjoy top secret! in that case.
The naked gun movies are based on a series called “police squad”. There are so many gems going on in the background that you’ll notice new things rewatching it. It’s also with Leslie Nielson.
Definitely check it out if you haven’t :).
I never did understand the broad and passionate love people have for The Big Lebowski. I just didn’t get it. It’s one of those wierd things I seem to be out of sync with for no reason I understand. Like when you show a good friend Firefly, and they don’t like it, and you start to question their moral character.
