“Canceling bus routes is something other districts do frequently, but is not something JCPS does.”

Maybe that’s how they do things in Kentucky, but I’m fifty fucking years old and dealt with school systems in two states and I’ve never heard of such a thing. But I’m sure parents there will accept at face value that this happens everywhere all the time.

I’m not in Kentucky but I’ve delt with school bus routes getting cancelled at the last minute because of driver shortages

Super rural or something? I’m sure it happens on occasion, but I’ve never experienced it in all my schooling nor the schooling of five kids. This admin is saying it like it happens all the time.

I live in a town with about 60,000 people and one year we didn’t get a bus for months. Other times the bus was cancelled the night before. It’s more common than you think.
