There was an expansion? That game was so mid I regret pirating it, and most people seem to feel similarly. Is the game actually popular?

Fallout 4 has over 4x the players than Starfield does at this moment, and 3x more players over the past 24 hours. a 10 year old game from the same company, beating it consistently for player count, by magnitudes is probably a good indicator that Starfield isnt popular.

      Starfield https://steamdb.info/app/1716740/charts/

      Fallout 4 https://steamdb.info/app/377160/charts/

A game called Amarillo’s Butt Slaper, has over double Starfields player count currently. Thats definitely bad knews for Starfields supposed popularity.

those powers are just so completely out of left field that when i first discovered them it immediately killed the single, already dying ember of interest I had in the game.

cause the game felt like this rather hard science ( according to its own internal setting ) setting, going on a vast interstellar adventure to understand the weirdness that an alien precursor race that was vastly more advanced than humanity left behind… Like an medieval knight trying to understand cellphones and electricity…

but nope. Its all just boring space magic. Why does thing float? SPACE MAGIC! Why does this do that? SPACE MAGIC! Everything just ends up being SPACE MAGIC.

No precusor race, No weird impossible to understand physics/sciences for our development level, Just a SPACE MAGIC and weird hallucinations inside a space anus at the end.
