Lions get their first win in a pantsing of the Bears.

Offensive MVP:
Jared Goff, 23 of 28, 334 yds, 5 TDs, 0 INT, QB RTG 156. Just smooth. Very few mistakes and ran the offense like a point guard. Short throws, middle throws, deep throws, didn’t matter Goff was ON. Honorable mention to Amon-Ra St Brown with 9 catches for 115 yards and 3 TDs. Nice to see our OC remembered him.

Defensive MVP:
Brian Branch. Second in total tackles with 6, including 1 sack, 1 pass defended, 2 TFL, and 1 forced fumble. When we needed it, he was there. Honorable mention: Jack Campbell who led the team with 8 total tackles. Get used to seeing that.

Overall, just a better execution all around. Yeah, it helps it was the Bears instead of a Packers team that is peaking too early. But the Offensive line in particular improved mightily. Far fewer missed assignments and confusion than week one. Tyleik Williams (DT), our first round draft pick, looked good pushing the middle around and deflecting a couple of passes. TeSlaa had another circus catch that really opened up the floodgate for the offense.

Marcus Davenport suffered a shoulder injury during the game but returned. No new updates yet.

Brian Branch suffered a cramp at the end of the game after taking a leg whip from Jack Campbell. After the game, Branch said it would not affect his status.

Shane Zylstra suffered an ankle injury and was out the rest of the game. Should get an update later today about his future status.
