Or maybe trans culture is just about recognizing the fact that biology (as most things) is too complex to allow for a neat (binary) classification of every single individual.
Gender is a man-made concept. It works well enough for most of us, but there are edge cases where things are not so clear. Trans culture is about recognizing this, and realizing there is nothing wrong with that.
Anyway, I don’t see what any of this has to do with rape. Who do I rape by not fitting neatly into any of the two classical gender categories?
