God, I’m glad that’s over. The news remains depressing, but at least it’s less frustrating.

What’s scary is that he has another chance of winning. 100% he will win GOP primaries and once again will be against Biden.

And this time he isn’t even hiding that he isn’t running for second term, he is running for life.

Agree, but we also shouldn’t underestimate him, underestimating trump was what gave him victory in 2016. No doubt that he will try once again to hold to power, and include all lessons learned. So it is very scary.

Would be so nice if he would just sit in front of his TV and eat hamburgers for the rest of his life. Of course watching cable news may be what inspired him to run to begin with.

The way I interpreted it is that Trump might win again and people aren’t keen on stopping it. I’m so fucking sick of these people that hate Biden enough to let Trump win. It’s like people forgot how anxiety inducing those 4 years were compared to Biden’s presidency. This meme format expresses the sadness of watching so called leftists refuse to work with liberals because they think they’re as bad as fascists for some reason. It’s a depressing slow motion train crash.

Biden was always going to be mediocre, but mediocrity beats an unhinged narcissistic fascist. It’s not even a close comparison, and the people who think it is are not only wrong, they fail to recognize that Trump will be an order of magnitude worse if elected again. He has no one to hold him back. No slightly liberal conservative that would push back against him. Just yes men and nothing to lose. Listen to what they say they will do for crying out loud. It’s empty and weak promises vs pure evil.

Sometimes the best option you have is not making things worse.

Biden is stopping a Hitler from existing.

i don’t find that funny… he is an awesome President of a great Administration, and the fact that people can’t recognize it is the reason we have a shitshow in Congress…

He’s an okay president who will be remembered as such. Certainly not as good as a president can be.

Man, I am definitely not seeing Teddy, FDR, or Truman level accomplishments out of Biden, whatever one’s opinion of him. If he wants to prove me wrong in his second term, I’m willing to re-evaluate, but hold the hagiography for now.

you don’t see what Joe has done, that’s all… you’re vaguely aware of the general consensus on him, nothing more…

this is how you know for sure there’s a great President in office: everything works, and everyone is just a little dissatisfied with the job he’s doing… that’s because the job is to make sure shit works and take all the heat… that’s why Trump is an anti-President… nothing worked and he’s an expert at deflecting blame…

Biden is the best President in decades, but that’s because things have been shitty for so long. Carter was the last president who was better than Biden, but people didn’t appreciate him, and he certainly wasn’t perfect. FDR had some serious negatives, but he accomplished so much. Nixon started the fall into awfulness, with Republicans constantly lowering the bar and Democrats following suit. Democrats have finally stopped moving right and started to move towards something reasonable, and if they’re successful, Republicans might be permanently marginalized like in California unless they return to sanity.

For the last 20 to 30 years, every president has been disliked for most of their term. The only reason Bush wasn’t was because of 9/11, and the public was dead wrong in their assessment of how well he was doing.

Obama was worse than Biden except for maybe the ACA. It has a lot to do with where the Democrats were back then, but he was actually fairly conservative.

Me: “it was nice being able to afford to use the machine that we’re required to own because of rigged zoning laws and geriatric politicians.”

You: “pfft yeah okay Trumper nazi”

Just say you hate lower-income people next time. It’s a lot quicker and succinct.

Nearly half of all ICE’s sold in the past decade were turbocharged for better fuel efficiency and fuel savings. Pretty much every turbocharged car requires 91/93 octane “premium” fuel for optimum compression and performance (read: fuel savings, not vroom vroom at redlights).

            what zoning laws

Do we really need to go through the whole “modern zoning laws force people (in America) to buy cars just to survive because of the lack of public transportation infrastructure” bit?

              Well, you’re wrong.

There is no zoning law that requires someone purchase a car that needs 93 octane.

And a used Prius is great
