Lara Croft’s boobs had more curves in 1996

Yes, in a late 1980s post-apocalyptic movie, it would work very well.
The inevitable Back to the Future remake featuring a Cybertruck instead of a Delorean.
Oh lord, you just spoke that into existence didn’t you?
I think while Robert Zemeckis is still alive were are safe, but once he passes I expect this will be fast-tracked within 6 months. He was born in 52, so I don’t think this is immanent but I guarantee this will happen eventually.
I hate that you’re right but at least we have a buffer.
Why must you say something so terrible and yet so true??
The thing absolutely has potential, just not as a truck.
It will probably make a great garbage can
How is this news. A car can be towed for several reasons other than mechanical problems.
It’s not out yet and it’s already been illegally parked
Yeah my first thought is if it’s not for sale yet, then maybe this isn’t a mechanical failure
As it’s not released, it’s probably illegal (contractually) to drive it on a public road. This is likely more akin to seeing tech writers with unreleased hardware.
Reading the article would indicate the truck was towed for being parked illegally.
Any excuse for Tesla bad
teslas are bad tho (even aside from them being electric cars)
Why?
Weird that we don’t get inundated with posts about other shitty cars.

People like to masturbate over “musk bad”
Shitty build quality for a start.
One of those lemmy mob buzz words.
No, if we’re using the actual meaning of the word.
You’re being downvoted, but only because you’re absolutely right and you’ve upset the circle jerkers.
You have upset then even more. Wait. Listen! You hear the “reeeeeee” in the distance? They are coming for me next. To tell me how they are autistic, have ADD, and think communism is a great idea, cause you know, gulags are super cozy.
its not good at cyber and its not good at truck. who is supposed to buy this useless thing?
Pavement princesses
Idiots
So people like Musk.
I’d’ve thought that’d be self evident.
This car reminds me so much of the one designed by Homer Simpson. Even Cybertruck as a model name makes me cringe, and this is coming from someone who quite likes the existing Tesla models.
It looks like someone drew the outline for it in crayon on a napkin, then demanded it be put into production.
More like some one stole from the set of some junky 80’s sci-fi action flick. damnation alley or maybe tango and cash…
It’s very reminiscent of the “future cars” in Back to the Future 2
Yeah, but, I actually like BTTF2, so I wasn’t gonna go there.
Tango and Cash exactly what that truck reminds me of! Definitely Elon design this himself and it looks just like what a child would dream up.
Great movie! Always loved it and the truck was kick ass.
The BattleBagos from Damnation Alley were awesome!
I hate that I like the look of this truck. I hate everything else about it, and want to be fully on board with the hate train having fun poking at this monstrosity, but I just can’t help but have some shit taste when it comes to the look of trucks…
Maybe the concept. Or edited photos from far away. Take a realistic, close-up look, and prepare to be disappointed. And the steel seems about as “fun” to take care of as a boat.
I mean, if there goal was to recreate some 90’s era video game graphics for nostolgia. Megarace, maybe.
At least it’s different. I can’t tell one truck from another. GMC, Ford, Ram, Chevrolet, they look exactly the same.
And why do you want to join a hate train? Love trains are better ❤️

A stupid truck deserves a stupid headline, I guess?
It doesn’t even deserve an article.
Why is this car rendered in such bad quality?
It just occurred to me that these things look sort of like the Zumwalt class stealth destroyers. Has anyone tested this thing against police radar guns? I mean it’s still ugly as hell, but if it’s harder for the cops to bust you for speeding…
The front is flat. It will be a perfect mirror for the radar. If anything it will be easier to lock on to.
I really don’t understand why Musk insisted on bringing what should have been just a concept vehicle to market.
People put down money for it years ago.
Which Tesla never should have done. It should have always been just a proof of concept at best.
Pretty sure Tesla needed the cash flow from pre-orders.
Free advertising
The Cybertruck reminds me of this but worse.
Perfection.

“Tesla bad, keep buying shitty gas vehicles”
- oil and auto makers
Just FYI, there are >20 other electric car makers in the market right now. A couple of those beat Tesla by a good margin, more than half have electric cars below 40k €.
My next car will be an electric car. It will not be a Tesla.
Furthermore, why are you blaming the consumer when corporations do the majority of the carbon pollution?
“Tesla bad, buy better quality electric cars from other manufacturers owned by people less terrible than musk”
- Actual people
I know it’s not a common opinion here, but there’s nothing remotely close to Tesla in terms of bang for the buck (whole experience, features, autopilot, charging infrastructure, power, range).
What are the ones you have in mind?
I’ve never driven any fully electric car yet so I’m not 100% sure about anything, but right now if I had the money I’d buy a Hyundai Ioniq 6 or Kia EV6 (or maybe a Polestar but I don’t like how they charge money to unlock features the car already has). From what I’ve seen and heard it seems like the Tesla vehicles are just poorly built and unreliable. Either way though I would just never buy a car that supported Musk because he is a genuinely horrible person.
(Also, not that it really matters that much compared to everything else, but I just feel like Hyundai/Kia has the best looking cars on the market right now and I love their designs so so much)
Tesla is bad though. Everything about their business seems to be catered to stupid people.
Literally the only good thing must has ever done in any of his ventures seems to be releasing the Tesla plug connector to other manufacturers.
And even that I’m not convinced is good long term.
