I think:
- good stapler
- goos 3-hole punch
- zippered binders
- highlighters
- candles
- tea set
- mini zen sand garden sandbox
- newtons cradle
- electric kettle
- Paper shredder
- adjustable phone stand
- phone dock with qi charging and bluetooth audio and usb ports to charge hub
- portable speaker/sound system
- everything cordless
- external hard drive loaded with shows and music and tools
Noise cancelling Headphones, to drown out the clacking of the newtons cradle.
And the asshole holepunching and stapling non-stop :D
Yes!
-
a source of instrumental music
-
a flat clean surface
-
a computer with both a physical keyboard and Internet connection
-
a hydrating beverage
-
no other noises
-
no visual distractions or movement
-
sunlight
-
good pens
-
a blank notepad
-
planning notebook / bullet journal
No offense OP but your ideal work environment sounds hellish to me.
Haha id keep things stowed away unless i needed them. Im all about minimalism when it comes to surfaces. Need not, take up space and in my face not
Sunlight is nice one but id also like good drapes in case im feeling dark that day

I have zero of those items. For me:
- massive bank of computer monitors, adjustable
- desk surface
- noise canceling headphones
- videoconferencing-friendly backdrop
- proper adjustable office chair
- corded everything
- a few awards and books
- a cupholder/trivet
Haha why corded
It helps define the space; the implements are tied to the zone, meaning that’s the defined work area. Also makes it harder to just clear off the surface to use it for something else.
Plus you never run out of battery at the worst possible time.
. . . Or find that your keyboard has gone wandering unexpectedly.
I just got done eliminating all unnecessary cords and severly restricting existing ones with ties and elastics. I just hate cords so much but they are sometimes necessary evil so I get them out of my face
