hello, after 10 weeks of injecting EEn in MCT oil in the vastus lateralis sites, i’ve noticed a very small area around the site on my left thigh has darkened. i just noticed it today. my last injection was 4 days ago, there’s been no pain or discomfort since the injection, nor is the darkened area raised or swollen. i only noticed when i was able to see it. i’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this, and if it’s a cause for concern, since i can’t find much on darkened injection sites on google.
Is it a bruise? Bruising is pretty common and might happen less with practice.

Just out of curiosity what’s your technique? I’ve been doing the same location alternating sides. I have a hard time causing myself pain with needles so I usually end up pushing it in super slowly and gradually. I find it helps reduce the pain and minimize bleeding after I’m done but idk how anyone else does it.
i do it slowly too.
Thinking about it I’ve had some spots I’ve noticed at times but I can’t see any right now
Do you inject into the same area each time? Perhaps it’s scar tissue
i alternate between my 2 thighs
