Congrats Lions. This was the only entertaining game of the weekend.
I dunno, GB vs Dallas was a great game for me as a Philly/KC fan ;)
How in the hell are you both a Philly and a KC fan? Are you Mrs. Kelce?
LOL Could you imagine if Mama Kelce was a fediverse user.
Haha, actually I’ve met a number of KC fans whose NFC team is Philly. Kelce, Andy Reid, and hating the Pats are just a few of the things we have in common
I was hoping the Green Bay v Dallas game was going to be entertaining…I am disappoint
It was entertaining as long as what you wanted was to see Dallas getting destroyed.
Dallas and 1st round playoff loss. Name a more iconic duo. . .
That was a truly awful showing, and coaching was a huge part of it. You know they want to bully you, they do, and you’re just sitting in two high soft zones that also don’t defend the pass all night.
If they fire McCarthy’s ass and bring in Bill that team is a wagon though.
How is no one criticizing Dan Quinn? His defense was touted as one of the best in the league all season and during this game they couldn’t even stop a nose bleed.
Because McCarthy is the head coach.
Both sides of the ball are his responsibility, and he’s done the same horribly underachieving in the playoffs his entire career no matter who his coordinators have been.
Yeah, that was an awesome game. I’m a fan of both teams, but I wanted the Lions to do well because it’s been way too long.
For the first time in Lemmy history!
Almost the first time in the history of the World Wide Web itself.
The World Wide Web was publicly released in August 1991, and the Lions last won a playoff game in January 1992.
There were only 2 websites in the world the last time the Lions won a playoff game. The third website ever was registered in February 1992.
A good day for football.
I don’t get the people that were disappointed with quality playoff football this weekend. We got to see the Packers, who nobody expected to make it to the playoffs, absolutely smoke the Cowboys. We saw Andy Reid grow icicles on his mustache like a walrus. Then we saw the Lions win a playoff game for the first time since BEFORE WINDOWS 3.1 was released, in a super close game. What more do you people want?!
