      My initial thought was “pass” but as I type this, if it’s not too terrible I could get my family to watch it that insists anime is only for children

        brb. telling my wife I got permission to show Akira and Perfect Blue to our four year old.

        Yeah, I don’t think it’ll be bad. However, Kiki is so ubiquitous with Ghibli in cinema, it’ll be hard to avoid the comparisons.
