        The US is not a democracy, its a one-party capitalist empire, and even its controlled opposition wing wanted to go to war with Iran for a long time. The democrats under Biden also massively increased funding to Israel to help destroy palestine:

          Americans could have had socialized healthcare for what they’ve sent to Isreal to bomb poor brown people.

      Ehh I’d argue that money was already lost down the black hole of defense spending.
