      This is blow molding, more common for soda bottles. Closed-top boats like kayaks are typically rotomolded instead.

          Squirt some liquid hot plastic into a closed mold and rotate it to coat the inside while it cools.

        Definitely transmutation.

        I’d rather it be done via thaumaturgy with a blind, wizened master sitting nearby shaping a tiny version as his family has done for centuries.
