So, I bought several bags of frozen jackfruit thinking I would use the slow cooker to make some BBQ. Then I realized that it’s ripe jackfruit, not young jackfruit. What can I do with it that’s not a smoothie?

    Thanks, I’ll look those up!

I recently started getting coconut sugar for when I need real sugar, or I use monk fruit when I just need sweetener. I didn’t realize that white sugar is often made with bone char, and brown sugar is just white sugar with the molasses put back in.

You can also use their seeds too, and make a curry out of it. Make sure to pressure-cook enough to soften it. They taste similar to a potato, although on the grainier side.

You can use jaggery instead of sugar, but it tastes muddy, stains your food, and also comes from the same factory where sugar is made. Might want to be careful about it.
