Always wondered what the relationship was between this game and Descent Freespace 2, the best space piloting sim ever.
Same developers. Maybe they wanted to bank on the descent name, or convey same 6dof gameplay?
I’ll always have one specific memory for this game. I took my PC over to a friend’s house and we linked with a serial cable. This was one of the games we tried to play against each other.
I don’t know what the problem was, but as his machine was better specced, gameplay was fine for him but an unplayable crawl for me.
He kicked my arse and all I saw my end was my defeat in the form of a slow slideshow!
