my take: there’s no class struggle without recognition of other oppressions, such as those of women, black people, indigenous people, immigrants, queer and so on. because they can happen even within a revolutionary context.

But lets be real here what even is “black power” in this context and why is being compared to “white power” because we know what that is, its white supremacy its racism and its oppression and its a tool that the ruling class controls and has used plenty and which white people have benefited from happily, but “black supremacy” isnt a thing besides a few powerless nutters and even if it was it would have no institutional or state power behind it like white supremacy. No, in reality “black power” is the power to resists oppression and even to resist capitalism so why is it being compared to “white power” why is it being put down?

Yes… the comic just seems rather bleak to me, as unless a structure is in place, the next step is usually a variation on panel 1. People need to be thinking of the next step (usually unionization or worker-owned corporations).
Why? The next step is Socialism.
Then the people organizing the violent revolution kill off most of their supporters and become an authoritarian dictatorship, revealing that their desire to give power to the people was a lie the whole time. This is an oversimplification of course, but applicable 99% of the time.
