Book of Hours. I’m normally not big on simulation games, but life has been frustrating lately, so I’m really enjoying the cycle of unlocking rooms, reading new books, improving skills, unlocking more stuff…
Game sounded cool from your description. Checked it out.
Deckbuilding tag on Steam
How much of a strategic card game is this, do I have to be a poker pro or good at MTG? Those kinds of games really don’t appeal to me, but I can’t figure out what about them makes me dislike them. It’s also possible that because I actively avoid the Deckbuilding tag because I know I’m not into most card games means that I’m passing up something that wouldn’t hit my dislike spot.
I’m pretty big on deck building, although I can’t get into poker or MTG. This game though, I don’t find it at all similar to regular deck building games.
You get a HUGE amount of resources(cards) to play with, and progress can be made in many many ways. The game is really forgiving about mistakes, and doesn’t punish for not taking the optimal route, if there even is such a thing in this game.
The real challenge is in keeping track of your available and unavailable stuff. I play on dual monitor with 6 pages of spreadsheets and two pages of the wiki open, which is probably not how everyone enjoys gaming, but I really enjoy it.
It’s been all Minecraft.
I’ve been loving software inc. Its a tycoon game with some factorio style elements. Contrary to the name however, it’s not just software you can decide to make, you can also make cell phones, consoles and such. You can genuinely start as just your founder in a garage and grow to encompass everything like some kind of indie Microsoft.
For 30$ Canadian the game is an absolute steal, so if you have any interest in the concept of software startups and enjoy the games like theme hospital and (to a lesser degree) factorio I heavily encourage you to check it out.
Destiny 2
I started replaying Earthbound.
Still trying to get through Animal Well. The cat disc keeps tripping me up as I need to make it to the final flame with the fake disc.
Also picked up Tears of the Kingdom again, trying to complete all the shrines.
Cobalt Core and Emberward
This week, I finished Far Cry 5. It gets a little repetitive after a while but I enjoy the open world factor.
The ending was very surprising and I checked out YouTube to see if I made the right decision as there are three endings in total.
dominated in virtua tennis 2 and then started playing half-life for dreamcast.
