Verizon has confirmed an outage affecting some of its mobile phone users that sparked a flurry of complaints on social media about disruptions to placing calls and accessing the internet.
I was told when this happened with ATT a few weeks ago that the account owners phone was fucked and all the sub accounts were good plus business accounts were unexpected.
I lost coverage for 5 hours on my personal ATT phone but I was able to use my work ATT phone to call my wife.
My brother was having the same issue. He could call people just fine while his girlfriend couldn’t. He discovered that he can’t call anyone that has an iPhone and they can’t call anyone else.
It’s weird, my service has been dead, but my wife’s is just fine. So it doesn’t seem to be a geographical issue.

my wife and I both have iPhones. I have no service at all, hers seems to be fine.
Do you both have the same type of phone?
exact same phones yeah.
I’ve heard it might be due to physical sim versus e-sim. Is that the case for you?
Edit: apparently nvm on that but it should be back up soon. Try airplane mode on/off like every half hour
