Most of the emulators get the sounds wrong. I still have my original 2600 and a TV to run it on. Someday it’ll make it back out of storage.

Luckily by the time I had to learn to write that garbage I already coded in several other languages. Made it easier, but somehow more painful. I’m pretty sure that shit was designed so that executives could look at the code and pretend they understood what was going on. At least with ‘common terms’ it eliminated the need for commenting out most of the time. One line of code would take a paragraph of text lol.

Did you bother to look into it at all? What you are asking doesn’t even make sense from a design standpoint.

The way they are building their electric truck is the smartest way. Using available, off-the-shelf parts that have proven reliability. Nobody is going to be using CAD to create custom parts. Reinventing the wheel is precisely the problem and Edison Motors is working to avoid those mistakes.

Also, they are taking design input/feedback at the consumer level right now, BEFORE they have a ‘completed’ product to purchase. This is as close to open source as you can get in my opinion.

You could literally buy the same parts out of a warehouse and build a logging truck yourself if you wanted to.

Or you can sit on the internet and complain without having any idea what you’re talking about.

That guy is doing some seriously cool open source shit on a HUGE scale (electric logging trucks). I’m sure once they perfect the process they will move into the car and truck market.

His media channels and shorts are always great, even if you have no knowledge or interest in the logging industry.

Oh we do. We often recognize it while still in school. But you learn quickly you are not allowed to question it. If you don’t follow orders, you will be disciplined.

That’s what I paid last month at Walgreens for a kit with 2 tests.

I thought they were still free so it was quite the sticker shock. I went in for supplies thinking I could afford $40 this month and ended up spending $65.

If I didn’t NEED the test for work I would have just not bothered at that price. When you live check-to-check stuff like this matters.

This is how it was done where I worked. If you asked for ashes, we just went and scooped out an appropriate amount of ash.

Sometimes the animal was still just sitting in the burn pile (we only burned on certain days). Also the ‘cremation’ furnace was just a modified 50gal drum. So you had to cut up any of the larger dogs. Small animals (kittens or anything smaller than a regular sized cat) we just threw in the dumpster.

As you can imagine, that job sucked.
