Gotcha, thank you! I’m gonna start paying attention for it and see if I can figure it out

Wait can you explain more? I’ve never heard of that, feel like I’m asking for a dirty trade secret
Well now I want to know why though
Ah, maybe try searching household hazardous waste recycling specifically. It’s possible the auto stores might accept all used oil products too, though. At least when I worked in the hazardous waste field for my county program, I mixed all the oil products, and they used it to heat the shops over the winter. We had a separate company that picked up stuff we couldn’t process, and my job was mostly sorting and combining what I could first. Afaik a lot of auto companies are doing the same hazardous waste bulk pick up.
Rather than throwing it away, you may have free options for recycling nearby, too. My county has a pretty robust program for residents available with regular recycling and hazardous waste like oil or paint in certain locations. There’s sometimes restrictions and sorting required from customers, but it’s usually pretty straight forward if you look it up
You can understand the reason!
Or. They. Sound like. Words combined. Sometimes in German. It is awesome and creative. As a new stoner, I was obsessed from the get go. Now look at me walking it back. I ran out of space… Here’s the end
(I worked hard of this dammit, someone better catch it)
How does it ever change? The 70+% of people that disagree show up to vote. I was raised by forced birthers and have been to family therapy with them to try to talk with a neutral third party. The therapist gave us all a blanket statement that we’ll never change each other’s minds. So, fine. My brother and I just have to cancel out their votes and get more people to tip the scales.
Every state that’s been able to vote on it has upheld protections for abortion. More are on the ballot for November. Check your state and be ready to show up.
Yeah, if you know a anyone that can’t just spontaneously cry when they’re hurt, that’s a major indicator they’ve been abused. We evolved tear ducts for a reason. Crying let’s others see we need comfort. Everyone deserves that.
This may not work for everyone, but I pull what hair I can out as I wash it and slap it on the walls. Then I swirl it up to throw away after. I hardly ever have to snake it back out, maybe once every few years.
I have memories of my parents telling their memories describing pretty heavy neglect when I was 0-3. I have a lot of vivid memories of abuse beyond that point, and it’s like therapy and education just bring up more. I dunno what else to do with my life but obsess over how to help prevent it for future generations however possible
Most people start retaining more concrete memories around three. It’s when we develop object permanence iirc
I wasn’t arguing it isn’t harmful. I’m just interested how there’s so much public effort to go after it but seemingly not alcohol even a bit.
Is alcohol still legal? Afaik at this point we have more evidence to the dangers of alcohol than vaping
Fuck, am I!?
We’re the most social creatures on the planet. It may not sway anyone, but it could help keep moral up for those of us more at risk for skipping from sheer depression or apathy.
I joked about it in high school, but I do think getting tipsy off Jesus partially set me up for alcoholism in my 20s. Now I’m curious if there are any correlations to higher rates for Catholics compared to other groups
Which is why we’re also seeing entire maternity wards shut down. Doctors can’t provide care without risking being jailed or being sued for malpractice, so they just won’t practice at all.
Imagine telling women who have experienced extreme violence that your solution for them is further violence. I cannot own a gun for my mental health. We can protect everyone by working to prevent violence.
I went from “socially liberal, fiscally conservative” in high school to liberal to communist to anarchist back to communist now I think I’m democratic socialist in my 30s? Just basic safety nets and unions, please.
